I am small time engineer building and improving the Badlands Traveler Aircraft. If you are interested in helping build and design an aircraft this is the place. We are hiring a paid intern for the following:

Design and modeling tasks including creating or refining CAD models of brackets, mounts, or minor structural and systems components such as control linkages, fairings, and instrument panel layouts.

• Systems planning support including preliminary routing and layout for wiring, fuel lines, and control cables within design constraints and best practices.

• Assisting with airframe assembly including fitting and drilling components, deburring, basic fabrication, and hardware installation under supervision.

• Composite, fabric, and sheet metal work including assisting with layups, trimming, sanding, and basic metal forming where applicable to the design.

• Load and fit checks including verifying clearances, alignment, and ergonomics of cockpit components and control systems.

• Documentation and drawings including maintaining build logs, updating drawings or 3D models as changes occur, and documenting test fits or design decisions.
